Come enjoy a tropical winter break as the Ka Ua Tuahine Polynesian Dance Company performs at the Pleasanton Public Library on Saturday, January 10 beginning at 2:00 pm. This award-winning ensemble, named after a light rain that falls in Manoa Valley on the island of O'ahu, is made up of individuals from diverse backgrounds dedicated to the perpetuation of Polynesian performing arts. Join us as we welcome them for the first time to Pleasanton!
This performance is part of the library’s ongoing Dance & Sing Around the World series, celebrating the music and dance of the many cultures which make up the Pleasanton community. These free programs are open to all ages, and no registration is required.
